Sponsored Content
Paid article placement for tech brands, clearly labeled and sponsored-tagged.
We publish a small number of sponsored articles from tech companies and their
agencies. Every one is labeled as paid, runs under a Sponsored Contributor byline, and the sponsor's links
carry rel="sponsored". These are the full terms. Please read them before you pay.
Read this before you pay
- Your links are
rel="sponsored". We don't sell links that pass ranking credit, at any price. - Your article is labeled "This is a paid sponsored post provided by [your brand]" at the top.
- It runs under a Sponsored Contributor byline, not one of our writers' names.
All three are fixed. If any of them is a dealbreaker, don't pay.
You're paying for editing, an original image, and placement of a labeled sponsored article for as long as that article remains published. You are not paying for a ranking benefit, and we don't claim one.
How it works
-
Submit and pay
Everything happens in the form at the bottom of this page: your details, your article (upload it or paste a link), and the $100 payment by card. There's nothing to email separately.
Don't send images. We make an original image for every article so there are no copyright problems. Anything you attach gets removed.
-
We edit and schedule
We edit for length, clarity, and accuracy, and we publish without sending edits back for approval. If we decline your draft after payment, you get a full refund.
-
We publish and send you the link
Typically live within 5–10 business days. We run only a few sponsored posts a month and space them between our own, so same-week publishing isn't available. Rush requests get declined, not upgraded.
Why we publish these
We publish sponsored articles to reach our own readers. They run in our blog feed alongside our own posts and go out to our newsletter list, the same as anything else we publish. We don't publish them for search visibility, we don't sell placement on the strength of this site's search rankings, and we don't guarantee indexing, rankings, or traffic. Anything outside what this site actually covers gets declined, whatever the fee.
Rates
$100 per article. Same rate and same terms for everyone.
Sponsor attribution in an existing article
We also add sponsor attribution to an article we have already published, where the sponsor is genuinely relevant to what that article covers. The fee covers the disclosure edit and ongoing hosting. Priced on request.
- The attribution link is
rel="sponsored", the same as everywhere else - We add a paid-placement disclosure to that article, naming your brand
- Anchor text is your brand name
- We pick the article. We won't force a mention into a post it doesn't belong in, and we'll decline rather than stretch the relevance
- The declined list below applies here too
Attribution stays in place for as long as the article remains published, on the same terms as a sponsored article: no refunds after placement, and we can remove it later if your site changes character.
What we publish
- Tech topics only, original and unpublished, written for readers rather than for a search engine
- 700–1,200 words
- A named source for every statistic
- No made-up technical terms passed off as real industry practice
- No AI filler and no generic essays padded out to hit a word count
Links — up to three each
- 3Up to three links to your site, each marked
rel="sponsored". Anchor text is your brand name or a plain descriptive phrase, not a keyword you are trying to rank for. We would rather they point to three different pages than three times to the same one. - 3Up to three citations, only where they back up a specific fact in the article — a study, a report, or a vendor's documentation. These are ordinary editorial links, not paid links, and they cannot point to your domain.
- 0Decorative links. Wikipedia, Forbes, atlas or distance pages, podcast episodes, and personal profiles get stripped.
What we don't accept
Casino, gambling, betting, crypto, forex, adult, dating, CBD, supplements, pharma, loans, payday lending, essay and homework services, personal-brand and profile links, and anything competing with our repair, data recovery, or managed IT work.
We also turn down anything unrelated to what this site covers. Relevance isn't optional.
Editorial
- We edit for length, clarity, and accuracy, and publish without sending edits back for approval
- If we decline your draft after payment, you get a full refund
- We can remove a published article later, without notice, if your site changes character or starts redirecting somewhere else
- No refunds once published
- We don't guarantee indexing, rankings, or traffic
Disclosure. These are paid placements. They're labeled on the page in line with FTC guidance,
and sponsor links carry rel="sponsored" in line with Google's spam policies.
Your responsibility. You confirm you own the article or have permission to publish it, that it isn't published anywhere else, and that it doesn't infringe anyone's copyright or trademark. You cover us for any claim or cost that comes out of what you sent.
Not an endorsement. Publishing a sponsored article doesn't mean we endorse the sponsor.
