Remember the good ol’ dot matrix printers?  Well, we’re a far way away from those.  We have since gone through bubblejets, inkjets, and now we’re at laserjet quality.  The next level is at the 3D printer.  But, unlike its 3D TV partner, the printer output may seem a bit murky.  What do you really want out of a 3D printer?
Will a 3D printer be useful?  Here are a few outputs you can create that will make it very useful:

  • Create a padlock and key out of plastic.
  • A working lamp made out of separate pieces.
  • A garlic press.
  • Measuring cups.

Best 3D printer to buy:

  • The Cube – At $1,300, it’s not the cheapest, but still cheaper than most.  It is the most reliable printer available.  It has also been shown to uphold its quality throughout time rather than breaking down like others.  The tech setup is easy.  It is PC supported and Mac support compatible.  You just activate and download software online to connect it to your computer.

Who’s the 3D printer good for?  Artists, knick-knack enthusiasts, computer tech lovers, and more.  I, personally, will hold off until I can find some real value out of a 3D printer.  Plus, I don’t think the current breed of 3D printers are stable.
