However, we’d like to think of the iPad as a bridge, or a product floating between downloading apps from and iPod as well as a products similar to a netbook. However, we feel Apple put this device out so early in their development that they didn’t want to run the risk of crashing the unit with foreign external hard drives, blackberry devices, or other USB devices that won’t play nicely. Nonetheless, a USB-devoid driven unit lets users focus on downloading apps to it, emailing, and keeping storage light; thus, syncing files to the main computer or perhaps online.
Although the iPad cannot be used as your main computer nor placed in your pocket like an iPod, it is a winner due toits beautiful 9.7 inch touch-screen display. It is the first of its kind to be touch-screen Apple product that is bigger than an iPhone or iPod. That alone, along with its cheaper Apple pricetag ($499 – $829), makes this a mobile product Apple enthusiasts can afford.
Yes, you’ll run into computer repair issues and other computer crashes since this is the first of its kind that will be released. The iPhone operating system 3.2 will run on it so don’t expect multiple tasks to be running simultaneously. But, the iPad is a winner due to its revolutionary style; thus, making it a nice tech gadget to buy for your loved ones.
