The iPad mini is coming. Our iPad experts have received Apple support info that it will be announced in October possibly for a holiday launch, barring any screen delays. The iPad mini will be 7.85 inches and expected to cost between $250 – $350.
It will do everything the regular iPad can do, but is smaller and more portable.
Check out the actual back panel of the iPad mini. The notable features the Apple engineers have designed on the iPad mini are: 2 cameras, 1024 x 768 7.85-inch screen, and 8-pin lighting dock connector (just like the iPhone 5).
Here’s the bottom-side view of the iPad mini’s lighting dock connector.I think the iPad mini will really go well. It’s cheap, portable, and is an easily viewable screen to take care of emails, Internet, and fun stuff. This will definitely challenge PC’s for consumers just using this iPad model as their go-to computer device instead of the traditional desktop or laptop.
