HP is now offering a limited warranty that will repair these bum motherboard HP’s. Here’s how it works:
You are eligible for the HP limited warranty (even if your warranty has lapsed) if you have:
- One of the following: HP Pavilion dv2000 / dv6000 / dv9000 or Presario V3000 / V6000 series
- A purchased laptop from North America
- A warranty expiration within 2 years
- One of the following issues: no wireless detected as an adapter; no video; no power; doesn’t start; battery doesn’t work
