The Gmail plug-in for the Blackbery is supposed to make it feel seamless whether you use Gmail on your computer or phone.  However, there is one stark problem with the plug-in.  It only syncs one way from the Blackberry to the Gmail server.  But, all those changes won’t show on the computer end.  So, if you delete some e-mails or report some e-mails as spam from your Blackberry, these updates won’t show from your computer.  This is not efficient since this means all of your work will go for naught and just waster further time in making the same changes from your computer.

Should you install the new Blackberry plug-in?  Definitely not.  You should wait until the two-way syncing will work for your Blackberry Internet Service.  Plus, the software install for this plug-in has been difficult and even our tech expert status cannot fight the sub-standard install package from Google.  If your Blackberry is on a Blackberry Enterprise Server, the Google Apps Connector has gone live and has done a great job pushing out e-mail efficiently.  But if you don’t have a Blackberry server, you should really wait until this plug-in has been perfected.
