How much does data recovery cost? What is price range for each level?
We don’t price by range — that’s intentional. Every job is different, and ranges are almost always inflated beyond what your recovery actually costs. The only honest number we can give you is the one based on your specific drive after a free diagnostic. That’s your flat fee — no range, no guessing, no worst-case padding.
What’s your success rate?

What if you can’t recover my data?

How long does data recovery take?
It depends on the severity of the damage — the same reason pricing does. Here’s a general estimate by level:
- Level 1 – Standard Recovery: 1–5 business days
- Level 2 – Advanced Recovery: 5–10 business days
- Level 3 – Lab Recovery: 10–15 business days
These are best-case estimates. The actual timeline depends on your specific device, the extent of the damage, and what we find once the diagnostic is complete. Some jobs move faster, some take longer — we won’t know until we’re in it.
The best way to get a realistic timeframe is to start the process. Bring in your drive, we run the free diagnostic, and from there we can give you a much more accurate picture of both the cost and the timeline before you commit to anything.
Can I ship or messenger over my device, or do I need to come in?
There are a few ways depending on where you are:
- Ship it in — If you’re anywhere in the US, you can mail your drive directly to us. Pack it securely, ship it to our Midtown Manhattan location, and we’ll take it from there.
- Messenger it over — Local to Manhattan? Send it over by courier. Quick, easy, and your drive stays in the city the whole time.
- Walk in — Bring it in yourself during repair center hours. No appointment needed, though scheduling a drop-off in advance is always an option if you want to skip any wait and speed up the intake process.
- Schedule a drop-off — If you want the fastest possible start, book a drop-off time ahead of your visit. We’ll have your intake ready to go the moment you walk in.

Can you recover data from a physically damaged or clicking drive?
Yes. A clicking or grinding drive is a mechanical issue — the read/write heads or platters are failing. We open the drive, source compatible replacement parts, and extract the data. This is exactly the kind of job many competitors escalate or refuse. We specialize in it.
