Here's the reality every IT department knows.
A failed drive, cracked screen, or dead motherboard shouldn’t derail your IT team for days. But, it always does.
Warranty Calls / Chats Eat Your Entire Day
Under warranty? That means hold queues, chat bots, RMA forms, and case numbers — before anything gets fixed. Then you coordinate a dispatch tech or pack and ship the device yourself. Your user has been down since 9am.
Manufacturer Repairs Will Wipe Your Files
The standard first-attempt fix is a clean OS install — every file, setting, and app gone. Did your user back up? Did you verify it? The burden of data recovery lands squarely on your team, not theirs.
Your IT Team Wasn't Hired for Break-Fix
Level 1, 2, and 3 are trained for networks, systems, and software — not cracked screens and dead motherboards. Every hour spent on hardware logistics is an hour pulled from infrastructure, security, and work that actually moves the needle.
Now You're Managing the Angry User Too
While the device is out for 2–3 weeks, someone still needs to work. Do you have a spare? Who provisions it? Who tracks the loaner? Who handles the daily "where's my laptop?" Your IT team is now running a help desk — not an IT department.
Built This
That IT Team.
Joe Silverman, our founder, held L1, L2 & L3 roles inside corporate IT departments.
That experience is why this depot division exists —
so IT teams finally have a reliable partner they can hand the hardware off to.What We Do

Ticket Tracking & Reporting
Full repair status updates, intake-to-return logs, and summary reports. We work in tandem with your existing IT ticketing workflow — not against it.
Asset Tagging & Device Labeling
We handle asset tagging, labeling, and inventory documentation so every device comes back organized, tracked, and ready to deploy back into your fleet.
Reverse Logistics & Spare Management
Hot swap fulfillment, spare device inventory management, and return logistics — keep your fleet running with zero gaps even during high-volume repair cycles.
Custom SLAs
Predefined turnaround times, priority queues, and performance benchmarks. Tailored to your organization’s size, device volume, and tolerance for downtime.
What This Replaces
- Managing repairs across 3–5 different vendors
- Manufacturer RMA queues with 2–4 week waits
- Per-incident billing with no budget predictability
- Manual tracking spreadsheets and status follow-ups
- IT staff hours spent on logistics, not IT work
Organizations with 30+ devices typically reduce hardware downtime by over 50% and cut per-repair costs by 30–40% by consolidating to a single dedicated depot partner.

What It Looks Like in Practice
US Recruitment Firm - 50 Devices / Month
50 Laptops a Month. No Repair Team. No Problem.
A fast-growing recruitment firm with offices across the US was cycling through 50 laptops a month — cracked screens, failed drives, dead batteries. With no in-house repair capability and no bandwidth to vet vendors, broken devices were stacking up and staff were sharing machines.
They needed a partner who could take the full intake, handle every repair, and ship back ready-to-use devices — without their team managing a single ticket. NYCH became their outsourced repair department. Fixed pricing, dedicated intake, and one contact for everything.
Outcome
3rd Party Repair
- Fixed-price catalog across all common repairs
- Dedicated intake — no ticket management on their end
- SLA-backed across all 50 monthly devices
- IT staff fully freed from break-fix logistics
Multi-Office Law Firm 20–100 Devices / Month
Variable Volume. Fixed Pricing. Zero Surprises.
A multi-office law firm sends between 20 and 100 devices per month depending on their litigation calendar and associate headcount. Budget predictability was critical — their finance team couldn’t approve a repair program with per-incident billing and no ceiling on costs.
NYCH built them a fixed-price repair catalog covering all common issues across their MacBook and PC fleet. Whether they send 20 devices or 100, the pricing doesn’t change, no renegotiation required, and every device is handled with the data compliance standards their clients expect.
Outcome
Set Pricing
- Custom fixed-price catalog — no per-incident billing
- Scales 20 to 100/month without renegotiation
- Compliant data handling on every device
- SLA met consistently across all intake volumes
International Technology Company — France 8,500 Microsoft Surfaces
8,500 Surfaces. One US Depot.
A French enterprise technology company operating across North America needed a US-based depot partner to fully manage their 8,500-unit Microsoft Surface fleet. They required device storage, hot-swap availability, inbound and outbound logistics, centralized ticket management, and repair — all under one roof, one agreement, and one SLA.
NYCH became their dedicated US depot arm. We handle full inventory, process every repair ticket, manage hot-swap fulfillment so users are never down, and coordinate all inbound and outbound logistics. Their team in France has a single point of contact in New York.
Outcome
US Depot Ops
- Full depot storage & live inventory management
- Hot-swap program — users never wait on repairs
- Centralized ticketing & logistics handled end-to-end
- Single US point of contact for entire fleet

FAQ
Common Questions
What types of devices do you repair?
All computers and devices — MacBooks, Windows laptops, Chromebooks, iPads, Android tablets, desktops, Surfaces, and smartphones. If your organization uses it, we repair it.
How does shipping and logistics work?
Ship directly to our NYC depot from anywhere in the US or internationally. We provide intake confirmation, device tracking through the repair process, and return shipping on completion. For high-volume clients we can arrange scheduled pickups and dedicated inbound logistics.
Can you store our devices and ship them as needed?
Yes. Our NYC depot is temperature-controlled, secured, and monitored by 24/7 camera surveillance. We can hold your device inventory — whether it’s a hot-swap pool, spare fleet, or devices awaiting deployment — and ship them out on demand. Full inventory tracking, asset tagging, and intake/outbound logging are included. Ideal for organizations managing large fleets, international shipments, or rolling device deployments.
How is our data handled and protected?
Every device is handled with strict data protocols. We do not access, copy, or wipe data without client authorization. For organizations with compliance requirements — legal, medical, financial — we offer documented data handling procedures and can sign NDAs and BAAs as needed.
Do you offer custom SLAs?
Yes. We customize SLA agreements around your organization’s specific requirements — volume, device types, and turnaround expectations. Every account is different and we work with you to build an agreement that fits your operation.
What are your pricing models?
We offer per-device flat-rate pricing, fixed repair catalogs by device type and issue, and monthly bulk plans for organizations with predictable volume. No surprise billing, no per-incident open-ended quotes. You know what repairs cost before you send anything.
What reporting and tracking do you provide?
Full ticket tracking from intake through repair to return. Enterprise clients get asset tagging, repair history reporting, and monthly summaries. Everything is documented so your IT team always knows the status of every device.
Do you provide loaner or hot-swap devices?
Full ticket tracking from intake through repair to return. Enterprise clients get asset tagging, repair history reporting, and monthly summaries. Everything is documented so your IT team always knows the status of every device.
What warranty do you provide on repairs?
All repairs include a standard 30-day warranty on parts and labor. For organizations that need more coverage, we offer extended monthly warranty plans and annual warranty agreements — giving your team predictable protection across your entire device fleet.
Can you handle emergency or rush repairs?
Yes. Rush repair service is available for critical devices. Contact your account rep or reach out directly and we’ll prioritize accordingly. Rush service terms are outlined in your agreement and we work with your requirements to get devices back as fast as possible.
Is there a minimum device volume to get started?
No minimum. We work with organizations sending 5 devices a month and organizations sending 500. Volume does affect pricing tiers, but there’s no floor to begin a relationship with us.
