This is the epitome of the selfie. What is a selfie? Being selfish and taking a picture of yourself for the world, or your friends, to see. It really is obnoxiously vain and well, Ellen Degeneres does a great job of mocking the whole selfie world while at the same time one-upping the world of selfies. She unassumingly joins the stars at the Oscars to create a giant selfie.
She tweeted the selfie and sure enough, the selfie has mustered a record with the most retweets. Of course, we have since retweeted her selfie and has been retweeted again and again and agian.
