This morning, my HP office network scanner broke down. I needed to scan some important documents to get over to a client. I didn’t have time to buy a new scanner. Luckily, I was able to download Scanner Pro, the coolest iPhone scanner in the world! I am now planning to use it as my permanent scanner going forward. That’s how good it is.
Here’s how it works:
- Download and open the Scanner Pro App
- Take a picture of your signed doc or anything else. Take pictures of multiple docs if you’d like.
- Scale the doc and convert it to PDF.
- Share it by email or upload to Dropbox, MobileMe, iDisk, Evernote, or Google Docs.
The quality of the scanning is flawless. It actually reproduces the image to clear any imperfections, and enhance the resolution. For instance, I received a smudgy looking fax. I printed the fax, signed it, and converted it to PDF with Scanner Pro. The end result of the signed doc looked like something from a Word Document, not an original, fuzzy-looking fax.
This is definitely a top tech support software item to keep around. The software install was easy, and you don’t have to be an iphone expert to work with it.
