The current iPhone dock cable is too long and gets tangled all the time. It’s great that it charges your iPhone via your computer’s USB port or through an adapter to your wall outlet. But, if you tuck it away when traveling or try to neaten it, it gets pretty messy due to its excessive cabling.
Twig has come out with the perfect iPhone support solution. It has removed the cabling and just cropped it down to its core USB and dock functionality. Basically, that’s all you need. Plus, you can prop of your iPhone while charging it. Yes, clock radios and other stereo speaker units can prop of your iPhone too. But, do you really want to be carrying around these appliances.
If you charge your iPhone at work, you can do so while still propping it up so you can use it rather than laying it flat on your desk. With it standing, it acts as a mini computer that you can see right away and work off of versus picking it up every time you get a text with the old fashioned way. It acts just like the regular Apple support docking cable.
For a pledge of only $18, you can get your own Twig iPhone docking cable. Unfortunately, this project is still being funded and is estimated to fulfill delivery only in September 2012. The wait makes it even more appealing to get your hands on it!
