HP is rolling out 7 new all-in-one PCs. But, there is one that is heads and shoulders above the rest. It is the HP TouchSmart 7320. There are a few flavors: The 20-inch Touchsmart 320, 21.5-inch TouchSmart 420, and finally the 23-inch TouchSmart 520. The computer prices are very reasonable at $600 – $1,100. You can kick it up a notch with the TouchSmart Elite 7320 business model that features a 21.5-inch high-def screen with Core i3, i5, or i7 processor. What’s surprising to me is the cost is only $850 on this model.
Of course, we always have to look to the Apple support folks when reviewing an all-in-one computer. The iMac is great, but PC lovers are not always so smitten being that they want a Windows 7 operating system. The iMac 21.5-inch screen starts at $1,199 which as typical is more costly than the HP’s model. That being said, if you’d like to attain graphics like the iMac, you should bump up to the Touchsmart Elite 7320 model which will match or better the iMac’s resolution.

I like that they included a couple of high-speed 3.0 USB ports. The drawback is that no firewire ports show to be included on this model. But, HP’s has never had firewire ports before and makes up for it with the USB 3.0 ports. Further, when buying, make sure that you select the wireless option as HP may be just making this wireless service feature optional if you pay extra for it. HP sometimes does this with it’s printer network capability where they’ll make the printer appear to be network-ready, but only if you pay extra for this network support feature.
Overall, this all-in-one PC is a great choice especially if you like Windows. It’s slick and will serve well as a business computer, home office computer, or if you wanted to double your computer as a TV.
